A reunion is held at the Queen’s Hotel, Penzance each year on the last Friday in February.  The reunion is a very informal occasion – people start arriving about 7.30 pm and we are usually allocated a room off to the right as you enter the foyer.  There is a display of items from the Old Penwithians archive and an opportunity is provided to browse through our photographic archive on a laptop computer and possibly provide some missing names of individuals in the photographs. We have a drink or two and ‘mingle’ for about an hour and a half then we are called for a group photograph, then back for what passes for our AGM; no minutes or agenda just a report from our chairman and the singing of the school song to wrap up the evening. At some point during the proceedings a raffle of prizes brought along by old boys will be drawn, however, there is no obligation to provide a raffle prize at all; your presence is much more valuable to us.

The long-lost third verse of the school song was sung again in 2004 but was dropped in 2005.  Since then the two verses familiar to everyone have raised the roof at The Queen’s Hotel as the finale to each reunion.  A recording was made at the 2006 reunion and is available on the “School Song” page.

As well as the annual reunion held by the “Old Penwithians” there have been year group reunions from time to time.
